What is SpideeMail?
SpideeMail is an attempt at geographically tracking emails as they get forwarded from one person to another.
Why geo-track an email?
No real reason. But isn't it kind of cool to think you can see where an email you send has been?
What do I need to do?
Well, because SpideeMail is only in Alpha testing at the moment, you can only sign up with an invitation. Drop a line, who knows, maybe you'll get an invitation.
How do I track an email?
When you're logged in, you'll be able to forward a SpideeMail to the email address you signed up with. All you need to do, is forward that email to any recipients with your own message.
How do I know where it's been
The email you forward includes an image. Clicking on that image will bring you back to our site where you'll see a Google map of the world and all the locations we think your email has been viewed at.
How accurate is this?
Only as accurate as our users make it. You should see a red marker on the map to the right, if this location is incorrect, move it to the correct location, click on the save link. This will help us increase SpideeMail's accuracy.
What is the future of SpideeMail?
Expect some Google gadgets for your iGoogle page. Plug-ins that will work with FireFox, Internet Explorer, FireFox, Thunderbird and FireFox. We'll have a feature request form, in case you think of something you'd like to see, like a plug-in for FireFox.
What does it cost?
Nothing. But! If you'd like to make a donation, you can do so via PayPal.

Are you here? If not, you can move the marker to your current location on the map.
